La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering an offer for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea. Back in 2011, United signed De Gea from Atletico as a replacement for the recently retired Edwin van der Sar.
Since then, the 31-year-old has established himself as the first choice at Old Trafford earning player of the season awards during his 11-year stint.
De Gea's contract with the Reds is due to expire at the end of this season but MEN Sport does expect United to trigger a one-year extension to his deal.
However, according to 90min, Atleti would be willing to bring De Gea back to the Spanish capital as their current number one Jan Oblak is 'unsettled'.
