Asda has announced that it is opening 21 new convenience stores across the UK in coming weeks - including one in Greater Manchester.
It follows the opening of 17 stores already this month, in locations including Southampton, Cardiff and Clapham. The announcement comes as the retailer continues its programme to convert convenience stores acquired from the Co-op and EG Group.
The newly-converted Asda Express stores stock up to 3,000 branded and own-label products to 'suit a broad range of customer needs' including top up shops for essential items such as milk and bread, grabbing lunch on the go or cooking dinner from scratch.
