Some major supermarkets are recalling products and warning their customers not to eat them because of health and safety risks.

Iceland, Asda, Lidl, Tesco, Spar and Holland & Barrett believe that the food products could be dangerous due to being contaminated or mislabelled.

The Food Standards Agency have issued the latest recalls this week to let consumers and local authorities know about the problems associated with the food, reports Birmingham Live.

Greggs is recalled their frozen two pack steaks because they may contain small pieces of plastic. The alert states: "The presence of plastic makes this product unsafe to eat. "This product is exclusively sold in Iceland Stores and does not affect the products sold in Greggs." The recall
