Supermarket giant ASDA has found itself in hot water with shoppers over a £1.79 item people are branding 'unethical'. The retailer has been slammed by shoppers over packs of pre-cut packs of fruit ahead of the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.
Posting on the popular Snack Reviews page, Craig Bullock shared a picture of pre-cut packs of fruit which are designed to go in summer drinks.
He said: "Spotted at Asda." There are two different packs: READ MORE: Aldi announces supermarket ban that affects every UK store The packs cost £1.75 each, and are available to buy in ASDA supermarkets now.
But they've divided shoppers. While some people had an issue with the price, others slammed the product for wasting unnecessary plastic.
