A mum-of-seven has hit out at ASDA after she ordered £20-worth of eggs which nearly ruined Easter for her kids. The mum says she had ordered £20-worth of eggs to give to her children and grandchild, but didn't receive a single one.

The mum took to Twitter to slam the supermarket - where she received a response. Here's what happened. Tracy Smith, 43, from Queensbury, near Halifax, paid for £20 worth of Easter eggs on Thursday, April 14, as part of her online shop with Asda.

She planned to give them to her seven children and her granddaughter on Easter Sunday but upon delivery she was told that none of the eggs she ordered were in stock. I ordered them along with my usual weekly grocery shop and placed the order on April 14. "All eggs showed as being available so I was disappointed and frustrated when they were unavailable but not necessarily surprised as Asda are quite poor at having stock, especially for seasonal occasions." Tracy says she is now "£20 down" until Asda refunds her and the lack of eggs meant she had to go "on a mad rush" to find replacements on Friday evening, with the Yorkshire mum eventually buying them from Tesco.
