Arsenal have been dealt a major injury blow in the Premier League title race with Manchester City - after Gabriel was forced off against Liverpool.
Defender Gabriel went down early in the second half and although he initially tried to play on he was ultimately forced off.
Poland defender Jacob Kwior was summoned from the bench to replace the Brazilian. Gabriel is a key player for Arsenal and while the nature of his injury is unknown and will be assessed over the coming days, the prospect of the Gunners losing him for any sort of sustained period of time would be a major worry.
Arsenal were already without William Saliba against Liverpool with the centre-back suspended after a red card against Bournemouth.
