Manchester City are in unchartered waters right now - having lost three games running in separate competitions - but outsiders simply cannot write Pep Guardiola and his star-studded squad off just yet.
City are still sitting pretty in second in the Premier League standings and there are mitigating circumstances for their struggles.
City have been hit harder than most when it comes to injuries this season and, while one or two first-team names are starting to return, Guardiola will still be without John Stones, Ruben Dias and Jack Grealish this weekend.
That's without even mentioning Kevin de Bruyne (thigh) and long-term absentee Rodri (knee). Without the Ballon d'Or winner for the rest of this season, City have had to be flexible in midfield after such a key blow, but there's still more than enough quality in their squad to make them favourites for a fifth straight title win.
