Arsenal legend Ian Wright feels the addition of Willian will be of huge benefit to his Brazilian compatriot Gabriel Martinelli.
The Gunners completed the signing of the ex-Chelsea forward on Friday on a free transfer. Mikel Arteta had requested the club go after Willian for his experience as he felt it would be valuable for the younger players in his squad to learn from the 32-year-old.
And Wright feels Martinelli, 19, is best placed to reap the rewards. "He [Willian] creates chances and scores goals and that’s what we need," Wright said on his official YouTube channel.
