Mikel Arteta is eyeing a transfer for Real Madrid flop Luka Jovic amid the uncertainty over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future.
Despite posting a prolific campaign for Eintracht Frankfurt last season, Jovic has struggled since arriving at Madrid in the summer.
The Serbian international has found the back of the net just twice for the Los Blancos, and Madrid are now reportedly prepared to cash-in on the forward.
That has alerted Arteta, who is keen on making a move for Jovic should Madrid put him up for sale, reports . The 22-year-old has shown all the qualities to convince Arteta he could play the lead striker role at Arsenal.
