A man pointed a 'gun' at two shop workers in Salford before demanding money. Officers are investigating an armed robbery at a shop on Chandos Grove, in Weaste, which took place shortly before 10pm last night (December 10).

Police believe that a man acting alone walked into a shop, carrying a suspected firearm. The offender then pointed the weapon at two members of staff who were 'simply going about their daily business'.

The man made demands for money before making off from the scene. Greater Manchester Police is now urging witnesses to come forward.
