Armed police boarded a holiday flight and arrested a suspect moments after it touched down. Passengers watched in shock as a man was escorted off the plane.
The drama happened following TUI flight TOM2103 from Madeira, which landed at Manchester Airport shortly after 6pm on Monday.
Moments after it arrived at Terminal 2 following the three hour and 40 minutes flight, armed police based at Manchester Airport boarded the Boeing 737.
Cops escorted a man off the jet and arrested him in connection with a warrant for an offence in Derbyshire, Greater Manchester Police has confirmed.
