Tui has issued guidance for passengers flying from Manchester Airport during its ongoing £1.3billion transformation. Terminal 2 doubled in size following the first phase of the transformation and work started on the second phase in January last year.
It will see a huge boost in facilities, with 27 new shops, bars and restaurants - including a champagne bar and a food hall - installed in the east side of T2, bringing it in line with the west side.
As part of the second phase, the original building will be upgraded with a second security hall and a new-look, extended departure lounge and it’s expected to be complete in 2025.
Airline Tui has said it's “excited for what’s to come” but it has issued guidance for passengers visiting the airport while the works are underway to ensure travellers have a smooth experience.
