Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo Perform 'Defying Gravity' at Oscars 2025

The Wicked duo delighted the audience with a much-buzzed about medley of songs from their smash hit movie musical.
The two took turns performing, with Ariana opening with “Over the Rainbow,” followed by Cynthia performing “Home” from the 1975 Broadway musical The Wiz, before coming together to perform “Defying Gravity” as Cynthia led the iconic battle cry to the finish.
