Ariana DeBose Wins at HCA Film Awards 2022, Kaitlyn Dever & More Stars Attend as Presenters!
justjared.comLots of stars were in attendance at the 2022 Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards on Monday (February 28) at Avalon in Hollywood. Ariana DeBose hit the stage during the event to accept the award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in West Side Story.
Her co-star Brian d’Arcy James was in attendance as well. Presenters at the event included Dopesick actress Kaitlyn Dever, Nightmare Alley‘s Ron Perlman, Uncharted‘s Sophia Ali, The Umbrella Academy‘s Emmy Raver-Lampman, and Cha Cha Real Smooth actor Cooper Raiff.
Encanto star Stephanie Beatriz was there to accept her award for Best Animated or VSX Performance. Nicolas Cage received the Acting Achievement Award, which was presented to him by Pig co-star Alex Wolff. Javier Bardem was there to receive his International Icon Award. Natalie Morales received the Filmmaker on the Rise award.
King Richard‘s Aunjanue Ellis and her on-screen daughters Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton all attended. Aunjanue received the Inspire Award, which Demi presented to her. Saniyya was honored with the Star on the Rise award, which was presented by the film’s director.
