The Argos website went down today, sending PlayStation fans into frenzy as they thought the retailer was restocking the latest Sony console.

The site and mobile app went down this morning at around 10am. A message on Argos' website read: "Sorry about this. We're just fixing something, bear with us and we'll be back soon." Another message on the retailer's app said: "We're updating our app to bring you more of what you love. "Go make yourself a cuppa - we'll be back before you can say 'Milk and 2 sugars".
