Excitement ahead of the bumper money giveaway has seemingly led the National Lottery app to be overloaded. Many people hoping to log on and buy a ticket were left frustrated this evening. "Is it me or is anyone else having an enormous amount of difficulty playing with the National Lottery site and app," one woman wrote.

One man on Twitter, who goes by the name Mark E, directed a complaint at the gambling insitution. "Sort out your website as unable to login due to it being busy," he demanded.
