Brits up and down the country are gearing up for huge celebrations for the King’s Coronation this May, with many planning get-togethers, Big Lunches and barbecues to mark the occasion.

The bank holiday will run from May 6 to May 8, and families are planning to kit out their homes with Royal-themed decorations to celebrate.

And for those wanting to pull out all of the stops and have a royal visit themselves, Argos is selling the ultimate party purchase so it looks as though King Charles himself has popped around for afternoon tea and a glass of fizz.

The retailer is selling three cardboard cut-outs of the King on their website, including a Regal King Charles - the most popular so far - as well as one of him wearing a blue suit, and a third featuring both King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.
