Typically, when you have a film that makes $1 billion at the box office and kickstarts a huge superhero franchise, a studio will desperately try to rush out a sequel.
Well, for “Aquaman,” which hit theaters in 2018, Warner Bros. is taking its time to get the sequel on the big screen, as it’s not supposed to arrive until the end of 2022.
But even though that means we have more than a year before we see Jason Momoa return as Arthur Curry, development continues to move forward, as we finally learn what the sequel will actually be called.
