Filming has temporarily been paused on the set of the new Apple TV+ series Lady in the Lake. The upcoming show, which is an adaptation of Laura Lippman‘s novel of the same name, takes place in Baltimore in 1966.
It stars Natalie Portman and Moses Ingram, as well as Y’Lan Noel, Mikey Madison and Brett Gelman.
According to Variety, production was halted on Friday afternoon (August 26) after receiving threats of violence. Click inside to find out what happened… The Baltimore police department stated that a group of locals contracted producers who were working in the downtown area around 4 p.m.
