Police have issued an appeal for help to identify a man whose body was found in woodland on a hillside in Lancashire. The body was uncovered by a member of the public at Longridge Fell on Easter Sunday (April 9).
Emergency services, including the Bowland Mountain Rescue Team, were then called to the scene just off Birdy Brow. Lancashire Police said despite extensive investigations, officers have not been able to identify who the man is.

A Home Office post-mortem came back as 'inconclusive' and further tests will be carried to find out how he died. Police have now released a description of the man, as well as pictures of clothes he was wearing, in a bid to identify him.
