Steven J. Horowitz Senior Music Writer After scheduling six sold-out shows at Las Vegas’ state-of-the-art Sphere venue, musician Anyma has extended his run as the first electronic act to stage a residency at the space.
The Afterlife presents Anyma show has added Jan. 10 and 11 to the docket, which already includes shows on Dec. 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and Jan.
1. Anyma joins the inaugural batch of musicians to perform at the space, including Dead & Co., Eagles, Phish and U2. Anyma is the performing alias of Matteo Milleri, who launched the project back in 2021 as an audio-visual project.
Aside from a trio of EPs and a pair of albums — last year’s “Genesys” and this year’s “Genesys II” — Anyma has excelled in the live space, where his songs are elevated by cutting-edge visuals and an eye-popping stage setup.
