Antony has admitted that he got goosebumps after walking out onto the Old Trafford turf ahead of kick-off and after scoring on his Manchester United debut against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Fresh from completing his £85.1million move to Old Trafford from Ajax on transfer deadline day, the Brazilian was thrown straight into the starting line-up by manager Erik ten Hag.
He replaced Anthony Elanga in the side, with Jadon Sancho switching to the left-flank. Antony, who worked with Ten Hag at Ajax, marked his debut in memorable fashion with 35 minutes on the clock, connecting with Marcus Rashford's pass and burying a low, left-footed effort beyond Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
