Antiques Roadshow saw a particularly special and rare item break records during one episode, with an incredible valuation shocking the entire crowd of onlookers.
An elderly couple arrived at the roadshow with an unusual and cultural design piece in the form of an Imperial robe from China.
The luxurious clothing item, which was made from a golden yellow fabric and embroidered with traditional Chinese symbols as well as the iconic dragon figure from the era, also featured puff sleeves with ruffles to complete it.
The show-stopping design immediately grabbed antiques expert Lee Young's attention, who is just one of the highly-talented team on the series, and he was keen to share his views on its worth. "There are those moments in your life that you will always remember, and I will always remember standing here, but I certainly will also remember the first time that I saw this spectacular robe," the valuer shared.
