Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Break Beacon Theatre Record With 11 Consecutive Sold-Out Shows

deadline.comTina Fey and Amy Poehler are New York City record-breakers: The duo’s Restless Leg comedy tour broke the record for most consecutive shows by any comedian at the famed Beacon Theatre, selling out 11 consecutive shows.
The Beacon engagement of the former Saturday Night Live cast mates ran between February 7 and 18. The record attendance was announced by Beacon owner Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp.
The previous Beacon record of 10 consecutive shows was set in October by Trevor Noah. The Restless Leg tour marked the first time either Fey or Poehler performed at the Upper West Side venue.
During the engagement, the two welcomed surprise guests from their SNL days, including Fred Armisen, Rachel Dratch, and Maya Rudolph.
