One MP reported constituents being referred to a centre more than 700 miles away.The 'world-beating' system is verging on the farcical.In some parts of the region, local leaders say testing has been 'rationed' by the government, with slots only available as and when the back end of the system allows.There are fears the entire system could be about the collapse, with lab capacity and the number of tests available seemingly unable to cope with soaring demand.Bosses in Bolton, who are fighting the highest infection rate in the country, have today urged the government to urgently address the availability of tests for people in.
