The total number of coronavirus deaths at hospital trusts in Greater Manchester, as of Thursday, September 24, is:Across England, a further 30 people, who tested positive for coronavirus, have died.It brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,838.Patients were aged between 18 and 101 years old.

All except two (aged between 53 and 82) had known underlying health conditions.Each day the NHS in England publishes the number of deaths recorded by each hospital trust in the last 24-hour period.These are deaths where the person had tested positive for the virus or where COVID-19 was mentioned on their death certificate.NHS England's daily figures sometimes include previously uncounted deaths and they do not.
