The Bad Seeds and The Birthday Party star Anita Lane has died aged 62. Anita was part of bands The Bad Seeds and The Birthday Party before releasing her solo albums Dirty Pearl and Sex O’Clock.
News of her death emerged after Louder Than War paid tribute to the late singer. The cause of death has yet to be released. Tributes were flooding social media as many took a moment in their day to remember the singer.
Nick Cave's wife Susie wrote on Instagram : “Darling Anita, We love you so much.” Bad Seeds star Warren Ellis added: "From her to eternity - RIP Anita Lane." Singer Anita was famed for co-writing hits From Her To Eternity and Stranger Than Kindness for The Bad Seeds with her then-boyfriend Nick Cave.
