Andre Onana has been impressed by Manchester United's quality in transition since arriving this summer. Onana will make his competitive debut for United when they host Wolves at Old Trafford this evening.
The 27-year-old has been getting to know his teammates during pre-season, following a £47.72million move from Inter Milan. The goalkeeper has been able to see for himself the improvement Erik ten Hag has overseen at United, particularly in the danger they can create in transition.
The Dutchman said in July that he wanted his side to be 'the best transition team in the world', and Onana has seen that in action. "It is really important for us to keep the ball, organise the situation but I’m really calm and confident.
If we do the right things everything will be right.” A major part of Ten Hag's insistence on signing Onana came as a result of the goalkeeper's quality in possession.
