It was first discovered in 1847 and had tentacles with a sharp beak used to rip apart prey, reports MailOnline.The shell of the creature was filled with mini gas chambers so it could control buoyancy and float up and down on command.Boffins say Endoceras were “ambush predators” that would lie in wait.
