Alton Towers will partially reopen this weekend but without any rides or collercoasters. The park is opening its gardens with limited capacity and restricted opening hours to ensure social distancing is observed.
The Resort has introduced a number of additional hygiene and safety measures which guests will see in place when they visit.
Everyone will be subject to a temperature check on arrival and guests are being asked to book online in advance. There will be social distancing markers at the Admissions plaza and other places around the Resort.
Sales of food and drinks will be limited to ‘grab and go’ items including hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams but guests are welcome to bring a picnic.
