After months of being closed to thrill-seekers for the Winter season, Alton Towers will re-open its doors this weekend. On Saturday March 18, people will be able to enjoy all of the thrills and attractions Alton Towers has on offer.

But when Alton Towers reopens, it'll look different to people. That's because a brand new ride is opening - and it's set to be one of the most spine-tingling yet.

The new ride, called The Curse at Alton Manor, is set to be a welcome addition to the theme park after iconic rollercoaster Nemesis shut its doors in 2022.

The ride, which is a favourite amongst theme park lovers, has closed for a revamp, and will not be open again until 2024.
