The new Covid-19 Delta variant spreads more easily from person to person. To help stop the spread, the government have told people living in areas where there are more cases to avoid meeting up inside where possible and minimise travel in and out of affected areas.
These areas are: New advice issued today (June 8) also states residents should get tested twice a week, keep two metres apart from people outside of their households and continue to work from home where possible.
