Fire damage forces Paisley music charity to find new space

Paisley charity is having to search for a new home after being forced out of its fire-damaged building for almost a year. Loud n Proud Productions has nowhere to go after finding out it will not be able to get back into the Paisley YMCA building for nine months.Firebugs torched Woodside House on William Street in February, and the damage is set to take months to fix.Loud n Proud, which is run by Paisley man Tommy McGrory and his son Jamie, uses a space in the building.Thankfully, none of their equipment was damaged in the blaze.However, Tommy and his team now have just weeks to find somewhere else to work and are being forced to leave thousands of pounds of state-of-the-art renovations behind.Tommy said: “It is a bit of a scunner.“It has.
