Two huge tower blocks for Manchester and Salford, as well as a massive housing plan for Stockport, are among big developments tabled this week.
A 33-storey tower could soon be built in Manchester city centre, on the corner of Hulme Street and Medlock Street. If approved, the plan would see 860 new student rooms created.
In Salford, a 22-storey building with a shared penthouse has been proposed. The 426-home plan would create shared areas for leisure and dining, including a winter garden, pergola and gym spaces.
In a Stockport village, over 500 new homes are on the table. It would be a major expansion of the Woodford Garden Village site with the addition of 540 new properties.
