All Creatures Great and Small actor Nicholas Ralph heads for stardom after TV debut

Nicholas, from Nairn, was warned he would end up struggling for work and living in a car if he pursued an acting career. But he’s having the last laugh after landing the lead role in the lavish series made by the team behind epic series such as Wolf Hall and Howards End.
Nicholas said: “I did acting from a young age but as soon as I went into secondary school, drama wasn’t a subject you could do.“I was very sporty.
