The duo have been fronting the Friday edition of the ITV daytime show since the start of 2021. They have also been stand-in hosts during the various breaks throughout the year such as Easter and the summer.
However, in more recent months, Alison and Dermot have been pushed to the forefront of the programme following the exits of both Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Phillip announced his decision to quit This Morning back in May this year after saying rumours of a fractured relationship with Holly behind the scenes had "become the story".
