Ali Crawford’s groin scan has revealed that the St Johnstone midfielder will not miss too much football.Fears had been raised that the 30-year-old on loan from Bolton would be out for a considerable length of time.But manager Callum Davidson yesterday confirmed he is likely to return before the end of the month.
Crawford, who has made a good impression since arriving in Perth, went off injured in Saints’ recent 3-1 victory against Dundee.“We sent him for a scan and the injury has settled down well,” Davidson said.
