Alexis Sanchez's future is in doubt after Inter Milan chief Beppe Marrotta said the club had failed to agree a loan extension with Manchester United.
Sanchez has spent the season on loan at Inter, and United want to get his £400,000-per-week wages off the bill this summer to release transfer funds for top targets such as £110million-rated Jadon Sancho.
However, United still have to sort out the striker's immediate future, with a fresh agreement needed for Sanchez to play the rest of this season with Inter after the campaign was extended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
