Good Morning Britain star Alex Beresford has sent support to Ranvir Singh following her emotional confession on the show this morning.

Ranvir broke down in tears as they discussed a young boy sending an emotional letter to England footballer Marcus Rashford.The hosts of the show were discussing racial abuse aimed at England’s players over the Euros 2020 fall-out.Alex was particularly moved by Ranvir's “strength” on the show as he praised her on social media.He penned in view of his 250,000 followers: “It’s not easy talking about this stuff.“As @ranvir01 said, as she embraced her hurt; there isn’t the privilege of choice.“Ranvir is one of the strongest people I know and we should not underestimate the strength it took to not fight back those.
