Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

ALESHA Dixon storms off Britain’s Got Talent this weekend after being covered in cockroaches. A spooky witch act terrifies the popstar and fellow judge Amanda Holden when she thrusts an apple in their face - which then explodes into a cluster of creepy crawlies.

The women dash away from the desk and Alesha, 43, refuses to return from her safe spot in the theatre’s stalls. Amanda, 51, shrieks: “This is why I’ve never gone on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!

It’s horrible.” And Alesha yells: “I’m socially distancing from the cockroaches!” The Britain's Got Talent judge would not return to her chair until the critters were cleared away.
