Winger Alejandro Garnacho has issued an apology to Manchester United's supporters following Wednesday night's pulsating 3-3 draw with Galatasaray in the Champions League at Rams Park.

Despite leading 3-1 with just over half an hour to go, United, who had found the net through Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay, were pegged back, conceding a thunderous equaliser with just under 20 minutes of regulation time left.

A draw has all but ended their chances of reaching the last-16 of the competition. United must beat group winners Bayern Munich in their final group game at Old Trafford on December 12 and hope that FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray draw in Denmark.

Though it is not an impossible outcome, the chances of everything falling into place are slim.
