Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large TLC has set a premiere date and shared a first look for “The Baldwins,” the reality series starring Alec and Hilaria Baldwin and their seven kids.

The series, which was first announced a year ago, premieres Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET, the network announced Monday. According to TLC, “The Baldwins” follows the couple and its kids with an eye toward “the challenges and humor that come while raising a large family in the public eye.” But it also apparently won’t shy away from the aftermath of the 2021 shooting on the set of the film “Rust,” in which cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed from an accidental live round that came out of a prop revolver that Alec Baldwin was using. “A son lost his mom in the most unthinkable tragedy,” Hilaria Baldwin says in the first look promo for “The Baldwins” (scroll down to watch). “This is never something to forget, and we’re trying to parent through it.” Alec Baldwin is then seen telling his wife, “I don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t have you.” Per TLC, the season premiere of “The Baldwins” features the parents celebrating eldest son Rafael’s ninth birthday, as well as a family summer trip to East Hamption. “But in the midst of celebration is uncertainty as Alec faces trial.

Alec and Hilaria navigate the emotional complexities of the moment, all while keeping their children’s lives as stable as possible,” the description adds.
