Aldi is once again helping households to keep the cost of their weekly groceries down by announcing even more price cuts.The budget UK supermarket giant has announced today (January 16) that it will be slashing the cost of more than 40 of its most commonly bought items.
The grocer has said that its latest cuts have dropped prices by an average of 17 percent. Available as of tomorrow (Wednesday, January 17), the UK's fourth largest supermarket will be dropping its prices across a range of household essentials such as coffee, tinned soups and baked beans.
That's not all, as pet food will also be reduced in price.It's not the first time that Aldi has announced it would be lowering its prices recently, after it slashed the cost of 36 products just ahead of Christmas in December 2023.
The last round of price cuts saw the supermarket slash up to 10 percent across a variety of household staples such as chicken goujons, beef mince, sausages and salmon fillets.Aldi's latest round of price cuts also come just after it was crowned as the cheapest UK supermarket for 2023 by Which?
