Alan Cumming Offers $10,000 Reward For Missing Chimpanzee Co-Star From 199 Comedy ‘Buddy’

On Thursday it was announced that the “Good Wife” star is offering up to $10,000 as a reward for information that would lead to whereabouts of missing chimpanzee Tonka. The foundation had been known as a breeding facility for baby chimpanzee, renting them out for movies, parties and other events, along with selling them to private owners.
Cumming said in a statement, “During the months we filmed together, baby Tonka and I became good friends, playing and grooming each other and just generally larking about.
It’s horrible to think he might be in a cage in a dark basement somewhere or have met some other fate, so I’m appealing to whoever knows what has become of him to please come forward and claim the reward.” Cumming’s reward would double the one on offer from PETA, putting the total reward as high as $20,000 for anyone who can help locate Tonka.
