Manchester United have received another positive update regarding the future of transfer target Antony as Ajax are reportedly willing to 'compromise' over the player's transfer fee.
The Athletic report that the Dutch side are open to reducing the €100million (£84.5million) transfer fee they originally demanded as United look to agree a deal with Erik ten Hag's former club.
The Dutch manager has been chasing Antony all summer and is intent on adding the 22-year-old to United's frontline. It is now thought that the Eredivisie side are willing to negotiate after MEN Sport reported that United are preparing another bid for the Brazilian winger.
The player himself is also thought to be desperate on a move after he was left out Ajax's matchday squad against Sparta Rotterdam.
