Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder has broken his silence on whether Antony will join Manchester United. United have reportedly turned their attention to the Brazilian winger as they look to strengthen their attacking options this summer.

Reports in the Netherlands this week claimed that the 22-year-old is 'striking' as he looks to force a move to Old Trafford.

Antony was seen at Ajax's training complex on Friday however he did not feature in training due to the Amsterdam club reportedly rejecting an €80m offer from United.

In an interview with De Telegraaf on Saturday, the forward claimed that he loved the Amsterdam club however before today's match with Sparta Rotterdam, Antony informed Schreuder that he 'did not feel 100 per cent to play'.
