A girl has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car near Tameside. Emergency services rushed out to Pennine Road in Simmondley, Glossop, following the collision.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing an air ambulance land nearby, while police and paramedics were called out to the scene after 6.25pm yesterday (July 7).
Derbyshire Police says the girl suffered a suspected broken ankle. No arrests have been made so far but enquiries are ongoing.
