Adventure races with trail running, mountain biking and kayaking are coming to Greater Manchester for the first time

Thrill seekers are getting the chance to trail run, kayak and mountain bike their way through spectacular landscapes in Greater Manchester this summer.

The Questars Adventure Race Series is coming to Marple Bridge on the edge of the Peak District for the first time in June as part of the 2024 Adventure Race Series.

The two-day event will see participants run, bike and kayak through the wilds of the surrounding area using a map and compass to plan their route. The objective is to reach as many checkpoints as possible. Race directors and Marple residents, Kim and Joe Selby, are bringing the series to their hometown having competed in Adventure Races all over the world and held races across the UK.
