The crowds gathered at The Mall to catch a glimpse of their new King and Queen on the Buckingham Palace balcony, despite the rain.
And as our new sovereign waved to the crowds, spectators also got the chance to see some of our younger royals – including Kate and William's children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
There was one particularly poignant moment between brothers George, nine, and five year old Louis as they chatted during the appearance, where they could watch the Red Arrows fly over the Palace.
Louis leaned over at one point to talk to his older brother George which made for adorable viewing. Charles and Camilla and other working members of the royal family enjoyed the historic moment where they waved to the public and enjoyed the fly past, which turned the sky red, white and blue in honour of the Coronation.
