The moment appeared in a behind-the-scenes video released by the Prince and Princess of Wales showing their preparations on the morning of the historic event.
The candid, five-minute film, posted on their YouTube account and called 'The Coronation Weekend', shows William, Kate Middleton, Charlotte and Louis appearing to be in the living room of their Kensington Palace home — as the children gaze out of the window at a car ready to whisk them to the service at Westminster Abbey.
William can then be seen talking to his two youngest before they make their way to the waiting vehicle — and a lip reader has revealed how the concerned father-of-three asked the youngsters a question before they got in.
